Congratulations to Aqua Vita Farms, Joe's Jerky and Country Store, and Noble Wood Shavings!  These businesses from Sherrill were three of the four businesses selected as finalists for the EDGEccelerator Business Competition sponsored by NBT Bank.  In October growth-oriented businesses in Oneida and Herkimer Counties were invited to enter the contest which will provide a cash award of $20,000 and a loan up to $50,000 to the winning company.  Over the next few weeks each company will present their business projects before a panel of five judges.  The winner will be announced March 6.  The City of Sherrill wishes all three businesses the best of luck and is proud to be their home.
