LEGAL NOTICE
The City of Sherrill and Sherrill-Kenwood Water District are offering for sale surplus equipment, a 2000 Chevrolet pick-up truck with utility box, and a 25-foot (16-inch diameter) stainless steel smoke stack, both “as is”. Sealed bids on these items will be received by the City Clerk until 11:00 a.m., local time, on May 9, 2011. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes labeled “Bid on Pick-up Truck” or “Bid on Smoke Stack”. Sealed bids will be opened at 11:00 a.m. May 9, 2011, at Sherrill City Hall, 377 Sherrill Road in the City of Sherrill, New York. The bids must include a 5% bid deposit, refundable to non-successful bidders. Bids must include all contact information of the bidder. These items may be examined by appointment by calling 363-2440.
Successful bidder will be required to pay by certified check, cash, or money order and pick up the vehicle within ten days after acceptance of bid.
The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
